PhD Student Gor Kharatyan

Researcher

Gor is a researcher at the Institute of Physical Research and Institute of Chemical Physics after A.B. Nalbandyan. He defended his master's degree on the topic of the Influence of Piezoelectricity on biexciton states in a cylindrical GaN/InGaN/GaN quantum dot and now is currently studying for a PhD in optics in IPR. Within the framework of which he theoretically studies the influence of piezoelectricity on excitonic systems and their optical properties and is engaged in growing rare-earth garnets with new compositions to study their properties and increase characteristics such as the scintillation yield and radiation resistance.
